Moving on from that I helped an old friend with a Millennium disco where I took over while he had a break. I hooked up with the resident DJ at the Windsor Hotel in Kirkcaldy and ran functions and parties. I was also given residency for a while in a small pub in Leven. My only problem was that I relied on others for transport and all the equipment belonged to the individual pubs and were fixed in place.
